Welcome to the Blog

Beth and I first thought when we were preparing to move to South Carolina that a blog would be a great way to keep our family and friends in touch with our lives. We set up the blog, but didn't get started. Then I kept wondering what would really be worth posting. First day of work, sure, that's fun. Beth got hired and started working at the hospital too - very exciting. But work is work and life goes on. Not everybody gets as excited as we do about the crazy things we get to do on a daily basis.

Then came the obvious reason to get this thing up and running. No, we didn't get a dog. We didn't sell the house in Kentucky. We're having a baby!

Beth is due on April 23rd, which puts her at 12 weeks today. So, keep up and enjoy the adventure with us. We'll do our best to post the fun stuff and good pictures along the way. For starters, here's our first ultrasound pictures of the little guy or gal. The first one is obviously better quality. The other got a bit distorted but you can still see our little one with arm and leg buds.
