Last weekend we traveled to Knoxville for my niece Anna's baptism. All of my sisters and brothers-in-law were there, as well as my nieces and nephews, Nana, and Uncle Bob. It was such a great time! It was the first time all of the cousins were together in one place. They had all met each other, but had never been all together. It was so fun to watch my nephews with all the little ones- they were so sweet! They loved trying to make them laugh:) I only wish the weekend lasted longer with more time to visit and hang out. Luckily Christmas isn't too far away and we'll all be together again soon.
While we were in Knoxville, there was a rock slide on I-40 three miles past the Tennessee-North Carolina border. No one was seriously injured (it happened at about 2:30 am on Saturday the 17th) but the interstate will be closed for a few months as they try to stabilize the mountain and remove the debris (some of which is 50ft high). Since this is on our regular route home, we had to take a detour that added an hour or so to our trip. Bummer! So our eight hour drive is now a nine hour drive, not including stops to feed and change Jake! Oh well, at least we didn't get stuck in the traffic Saturday morning before they had signs up announcing the rock slide and the detour. They said people were at a standstill for hours!

Jake and Anna. They are about the same weight but Jake has a few inches on Anna- as you can see.
