Jake got his first real boo boo Friday night just as we were about to meet some friends for dinner. He was pulling up on the coffee table, and his feet slipped. He bit the inside of his upper lip and actually drew blood:( Luckily some quick thinking prompted us to wrap a piece of ice in a paper towel for him to hold and suck on. He LOVED it! The tears stopped immediately, and we even had to replace the initial ice cube with a second one as it melted. There was no permanent damage, and we discovered Jake loves ice (this came in handy at the restaurant that evening!). Daddy even got to love on him and make everything all better:)
