So here's the cute story. I was eating grapes one morning at the villa, and Jake came over and wanted some. I asked him to say please first, and he immediately signed please so I started sharing my grapes. Well, Noah came over and wanted grapes, too. I asked him to say please, as did his mom and dad because this is a word he knows and they're working on. When he wouldn't say please, Jake started signing please over and over again as if to tell Noah, "If you do this, she'll give you grapes!" When Noah didn't sign please or say please and still desperately wanted grapes, Jake stepped in to rescue him. Jake, sweet as he can be, signed please on Noah's chest for him so that Noah could have some grapes! It was adorable!

cute story
While we were at the beach, we shared a villa with some friends of ours from the residency program. They have two kids, Noah and Sophie, and Jake and Noah are great buds even though Noah is almost 1 1/2 years older. Jake couldn't say Noah so he called him "No-way" (he can say Noah now), and Noah calls Jake "Jate" because he can't pronounce hard k sounds. It's precious to hear them talking back and forth. They love playing together!
