On Father's Day, we were able to dedicate Jacob at our church here, South Main Street Baptist Church. This was our opportunity to make a public declaration of our intention to raise Jake in a Christian home and to instruct and guide him to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We commit to pray for, counsel, and teach Jacob in the ways of God and seek to be an example for him. It is an awesome responsibility we have been entrusted with, and we pray daily for Jacob as well as wisdom in our parenting. We are so blessed to have Jake in our lives, and we know that the Lord has a mighty purpose for his life!
