We took Jacob to the pool for the first time last week to test the waters (pun definitely intended). We were able to get in the shade in one corner of the pool and enjoy it for a good while. He didn't seem to mind the water but wasn't too playful yet, either. We'll be looking forward to more trips to the pool, obviously being very cautious of the fair skin he clearly inherited from me, not Beth. I wonder if they make SPF 50 full-body suits like this for grown men...
