This past weekend Mark had an ATLS (advanced trauma life support) training class in Asheville, NC he had to complete in order to moonlight in the Emergency Room. Jake and I went with him so that we could make a long weekend out of it and were there Friday through Monday. Mark had class all day Saturday and Sunday so Jake and I explored Asheville, wandering around downtown and the historic Biltmore Village. Asheville is a very eclectic town, and we enjoyed people watching immensely. We had dinner at two local eateries- a Cuban restaurant and a little Latin American restaurant. The food was delicious- much better than chain restaurants!
Cool fountain in the square downtown.
Double D's- a coffee shop in a double decker bus. They were too crowded so Jake and I didn't get to go inside:( It sure looked like fun!
