Last weekend when Grammy and Grandpa were here we decided to see if Jake wanted to join us at the table in his Chicco hook-on table chair. It was a success! We even took it with us when we went out to eat this past week, and Jake did fantastic. We thought we would just use this instead of buying a high chair since we have limited space in the apartment. However, we realized it would be a hassle to clean since it is fabric, and we know that feeding will be a messy process for a while.
We decided to purchase a hard plastic booster seat so that it would be easy to wipe down. My favorite feature of the one we purchased is that it has removable toys that snap onto the tray for Jake to play with while we are eating or while we're getting his food ready, etc. We tried it out today and he really enjoyed the toys. Now that he's getting used to sitting in his seat, the next step is to start him on some rice cereal once he turns six months! We'll post on that milestone when we get there:)

We never took the high chair out of storage when Helen was born. She went from bobby chair to bumbo seat to the high chair Jake is sitting in in these pictures!
