Jake really wanted to ride in the sit 'n stand style stroller that Corrie and Owen used. He definitely wants to walk most everywhere instead of riding in the stroller. The stroller didn't work so well because while sitting in it he was too low to see above the fences/walls around the animals. So, I would lift him up and then let him walk between the exhibits. He's doing so well holding my hand when we're out in public places- we've been working on doing this and him being happy about it:) We can't wait to go back soon with Daddy!
Jake, Mommy, and Sam posing with the elephant:)
Garry raided his piggy bank to feed the giraffes, and he shared his lettuce with Jake. Jake really wanted to feed the giraffe, which surprised me. I wasn't even going to go there. He took that lettuce and walked over to the giraffe! It was precious:) The giraffe just couldn't reach the lettuce until I held him.
Impressively we were able to get all the kids looking in the general direction of the camera!
Owen (almost 14 mos), Garry (almost 2 1/2 yrs), Jake (16 mos), and Corrie (almost 3 yrs).
