When we were in Kentucky, Jake loved sitting next to his cousin Paige's toy basket and being able to pull out whichever toy he wanted. His toy bin will be the perfect height once he starts pulling up and walking, but it's too tall to reach in while sitting. As a result, I generally just lay out lots of toys on his blanket, and he will just pick them up. Since he liked Paige's basket so much, I found the basket Aunt Stephanie filled with goodies for his baby shower and decided to use it for his toys. The top is wider than the bottom and tips over pretty easily. So, instead of just reaching in and getting his toys, he pulls on the edge and tips it towards him to get the toys out. It's pretty amusing to watch and a pretty clever way to get the toys at the bottom of the basket that he can't reach. He definitely enjoys pulling all the toys out!

Lots of options.
Showing off his "new" toy basket.
Disappearing into the basket.
Trying to get the last toy out!
