playground

The past week has been sunny with temps in the 60s-70s. This has gotten us outside every afternoon enjoying the little playground in our apartment complex. Jake wasn't very interested in it last summer, but I think it will be a regular stop this summer:) He can climb the stairs, run back and forth, and go down the slides all by himself. He even scales this ladder-type thing by the slide; however, I do make sure that I am right next to him in case he loses his footing. He is definitely into doing things "by myself" these days:)

Riding his tricycle from Uncle Tom and Aunt Sarah. Although he can reach the pedals and push okay, this is not his favorite use of the trike...

He prefers filling up the back compartment with mulch, sticks, and rocks... pretty much anything he finds outside!

Thankfully he is still short enough to run underneath without hitting his head. Otherwise we might have lots of accidents:)
