another surprise visit

We had another exciting visit last week. Saturday morning my sister Jenni called and asked if we would be up for some company that afternoon. She and her family had been at the beach and wanted to stop by for a short visit on their way home! Needless to say, we were thrilled that they had enough time to detour through Greenwood and visit with us for the majority of the afternoon. Jake loved getting to see his cousins again, and they had a great time playing together.

After Jake's fun with my niece Anna's tunnel at her birthday party earlier this month, we bought a pop-up tent that was similar but took up less space. Well, we opened it up for the first time while they were here and everyone had a blast. Now all we need to get are some plastic balls for Jake to play with while he's inside. Apparently you can connect the tent to the tunnel so I think we'll have to bring the tent to Nana's house for Christmas and have Anna bring her tunnel and try it out!

Thanks, Jenni, Chris, Knox, Lucas, and Paige for coming to see us and spending the afternoon playing with Jake. It will be so much fun once we are closer and the kids can play together more frequently. We love you all and can't wait to see you again at Christmas!

Knox popping his head out the top of the tent.

Lucas and Jake wrestling with Uncle Chris.

For some reason, Paige loved Jake's crib. She wanted to run back and forth and play inside it. It was hilarious!

Paige enjoyed Jake's swing on the porch:)

Jake was getting very jealous of Chris holding Paige- nevermind that Chris is her father... It didn't make any sense, but it was pretty amusing. Seemed a little backwards to me. Jake didn't mind when Mark or I held Paige, but Chris was another story!
