Last weekend it was cooler than usual and a bit overcast Saturday morning so we decided to take Jake to the park. This was the first time he's been to the park since he learned to walk. Pre-walking we'd generally just swing or play in the grass so this would be interesting to see how he'd do walking around in the sand. He had a great time! He loved the sand, and was content to sit in it and dig with a stick:) He did like the slide and climbing the stairs on the little play set. Then the sun came out and it got very hot and muggy very fast so we headed home to wait for his cousins to arrive. I can't wait until the fall when it's cooler, and we can go to the park more often!
