surprise visit

Last week I got an email from my good friend Ann- she is who I lived with in Danville before Mark and I got married.  She and her mom were in Asheville visiting the Biltmore for her birthday and wanted to meet for lunch or dinner. It worked out for us to meet for dinner in Spartanburg (about an hour and fifteen minutes away for each of us) for dinner on Thursday night. It was so good to see her and visit and catch-up. It had been a year since we had seen each other, and she couldn't believe how big Jake is. I can't wait until we're closer and can see each other more often. Thanks, Ann and Roberta, for making an extra drive after a day of driving to meet us. It was wonderful to you both!
