35 weeks

So, we did an ultrasound today since Nana was in visiting. Sam is still measuring a bit large, but so bad. The average baby at 35 weeks is about 5 1/4 pounds and over 18 inches long. Sam weighed in at just under 6 1/2 pounds! Oh well, he's on track to match Jake. At this point in the pregnancy babies usually gain about a 1/2 pound per week. That would put Sam at 9 pounds if he waits until 40 weeks to make his appearance or 8 1/2 pounds at 39 weeks, which is exactly what Jake did:)
