38 1/2 weeks

I had my weekly doctor's appointment yesterday and.... drumroll please:) I'm already 3cm dilated and 75% effaced. Yippee! Hopefully Sam will make his arrival sometime this weekend. We'll see... We did another ultrasound last night, and he only weighed 7 1/2 pounds. Granted ultrasounds in the third trimester aren't the most accurate (they can be up to a pound off either way). Regardless, it made me optimistic:)
