I was 36 weeks on Monday and had my appointment today. Exciting news- I'm already 1 cm dilated. Yippee! Not so great news- I'm measuring at about 38 weeks so my doctor today was a little concerned about Sam's size. I just pray I don't have a repeat of the situation my sister Jenni did. Her first son was 8 lbs 8 oz (this is exactly what Jake was) and her second son was 9 lbs 14 oz! However, everything went well and she had him naturally without complications. That gives me hope! We'll see what happens... Although, there's not too much that I can really do about this:)
Mark goes off sports medicine next Wednesday so I can walk and exercise to my heart's content starting next Thursday. Right now I have to go easy because if I do too much I start contracting multiple times in a row:) It's crazy to think that I'll be full-term next Monday and that Sam really could come any time now...
