water play date

Last Thursday, my friends and our kids got together for a fun water play date. We had a little pool and a splash/fountain wading mat. It was a grand time. Thanks, Trisha, for hosting and setting up the water venue with chairs for the moms. It was a perfect day. The little kids liked the pool best, while the older ones enjoyed the splash/wading mat. It was fun to watch them interact and play with each other. Baby William, baby Judah, and Owen weren't so sure about the water, but they enjoyed watching the other kids play. I'm glad it wasn't as hot as it has been so all of us moms weren't sweating profusely as we sat around and chatted and watched our kids play. It was a perfect day!
