13 weeks

We got the exersaucer out on Monday and gave it a try. Technically Sam is a little young for it, but he loves to stand and has great muscle tone and head control. He does very well and stays in it about 5-10 minutes (supervised, of course) at a time before getting tired. He likes to rotate between the floor gym, exersaucer, watching the mobile in his crib, and the bouncy seat, but he often joins us on Jake's bed for story time. He definitely gets a lot of variety!

I was able to snap this pic and text it to Daddy at work, which made his day:)

He loves being able to push up with his legs and look around.

Sam's hair often doesn't seem as red as Jake's because he doesn't have as much. Then I see a picture like this, and it is clearly very red:) I love it!

My silly boys. Jake comes running any time Sam is on the floor, wanting to join him. If Sam is on his back, Jake will ask me to put Sam on his tummy. Too funny!

Sam has such a sweet smile. It just lights up his whole face:)

Although Sam likes to be swaddled, he is breaking free more and more. If he could only keep the pacifier in his mouth when he's not swaddled, he'd be happy and we'd be set...

Here's a short video of Sam making cute cooing noises. Enjoy!
