moses christmas

We were able to celebrate Christmas with my family on the Wednesday before Christmas. All of my sisters and their families were able to come in for the day, as well as my uncle, great aunts, and step-grandmother. Only Nana had met Sam before so it was especially special to introduce him to my side of the family. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed watching all of the kids play together. Jake loved all of his cousins and can say everyone's names now, which is super fun. He even recognizes them in pictures, too! Family events are only going to get crazier as more children come along. My sister Melanie is expecting a new little one the first week of June, and we can't wait!

Very focused during tummy time.

Mommy and her littlest man.

Jake, Mark, Paige, and Lucas
Uncle Mark is always a favorite with the nephews, and now Paige is even excited about "Uncle Marker!"

Aunt Jenni snuggling with her sweet Paige.

Uncle Brad and our adorable niece Anna.

Uncle Bob and Jake. Jake walked right up to him and asked to sit on his lap. Jake stayed very still and didn't wiggle at all. He even asked Uncle Bob to take him "walking," which means holding his hand and walking around pointing out new things. Even though Uncle Bob can't do this because of his crutches, I think the request made his day:) It was very sweet.

The boy cousins: Lucas, Jake, and Knox. I can't believe they sat still this long!

Knox and Jake being silly.

The boys roughhousing around. Knox and Lucas taught Jake all kinds of moves and got him all wound up. Jake was crazy!

Jake and Paige playing and pretending to go to sleep.

Jake and Nana.

Mommy and Sam.

Paige ready to open gifts.

Jake really enjoyed passing out gifts to everyone with his older cousins.

Caught red-handed. The girls had purses with necklaces in them, and Jake managed to sneak one away and put it on. It was too funny!

Luckily he was just as interested in his new power drill:)

Jake opening his new tool box from Nana.

I just love this picture of Jake and Anna playing together in the morning with their jammies still on.

Here's another one with a view of their faces.

Sam and Aunt Stephanie.
