puckett christmas

On Christmas Eve we were able to introduce Sam to Aunt Suzy and Uncle Steve, Aunt Sarah and Uncle Mick, and Riley. Jake really latched on to Riley and had great fun playing with the trains together. We celebrated Christmas morning with Gammy, Papa, Uncle Tom, and Aunt Sarah. It was a very relaxing morning, and Mark even got one of his favorite breakfasts- cinnamon rolls. Jake really liked them, too! Gammy had picked out cute Christmas jammies for the boys, but sadly Jake's overnight diaper wasn't enough, and we had to have a jammie change first thing that morning. Luckily we got a picture the night before. Later that evening we went over to Grandma's house to see all of Gammy's side of the family, and Nana was even able to join us. Jake had fun playing with Jackson, Mark's cousin's little boy who is three months older than Jake. We had a wonderful evening and Jake somehow managed to stay awake until 11 o'clock! We didn't mind because that meant he slept a lot in the car during the drive home the next day.

Aunt Sarah and Uncle Tom got Jake and Jackson matching tricycles. It will be perfect come spring. Thank you!

Jake "playing" the piano at Gammy and Papa's house.

Gammy found a travel swing at a consignment sale, and it was perfect for Sam.

Happy Sam showing off that red hair!

Jake and Sam in their Christmas jammies. It was bedtime, and they weren't so interested in the picture:)

Jake riding in Mark's new backpack carrier. It will be perfect for hiking when it warms up.

Jake loved it; he almost fell asleep in it walking around the house:)

Sam in his new UL hat; it's still a little big:)

Jake in front of his tree (Norway spruce) with Gammy and Papa. Click HERE to see how much it's grown since last Christmas.

Gammy and Papa planted a Canaan Fir tree this year in Sam's honor. It's small enough to be hidden behind them. But it will grow soon enough:)

Gammy had Jake and Sam's room all decorated.

She even had some of their pictures (thanks, Trisha) enlarged and framed on the wall.
