snow day

They forecasted snow overnight, and we actually got it! We woke up this morning to a winter wonderland. By 6:30am there was already about four inches on the ground- the most since 1988! It is still snowing and is supposed to continue all day. Needless to say, everything is closed.

Mark surprisingly does not have to go into the office and has the day off! Yippee! We've already been out into the snow and tried to build a snowman. However, the snow is very fluffy and will not pack at all so no snowman:( Jake was bummed. He kept saying, "Build snowman. Build snowman." We'll have to try again later.

We got Sam all bundled and went to get ourselves dressed. When we came back to get him he had fallen asleep. He stayed asleep for the first 15 minutes or so outside with snow swirling all around him!
