so grown up

Jake has a new lunch food that he enjoys- sandwiches! It all started with him always wanting whatever I'm eating for lunch. If I would fix something different for myself to eat, he would want nothing to do with what he had been previously eating just fine. Instead he would only want what was on my plate. Generally this is a turkey and cheese sandwich with dill pickles on a hearty 12 grain bread. No worries! He just opens his mouth and takes bite after bite. Well, I wised up. Now I just fix him his own half of a sandwich, which he eats completely! I have to hold it for him to take bites otherwise he wants to take it apart and inspect everything. This wouldn't be so bad except then he won't eat it after it no longer looks like the original sandwich. He just seems so grown up eating a sandwich for lunch! It definitely makes things easier!
